I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! Just wanted to share some of my pics. I was so happy to get my Longchamp Pliage from my parents! Isn't it beautiful?! I got a beautiful new wallet from Scott too!!






My mom got a HOKIE Hat!! I'm jealous, isn't it cute, lol?!

And this isn't related to Christmas, but I wanted to share anyways! Found some Bonnie Marcus cards on Joss & Main and I had to get them!! Love them!


I hope everyone has a great New Year's. Both Scott and I are under the weather, so we will just be celebrating at home this year.

Plan on implementing a few New Year's Resolutions for 2012. I want to start Weight Watchers back up again, have gained ALL my pre-wedding weight back, need to take care of that. I also want to try and make myself more money-aware, I need to!! I want to try and use coupons more more....

Gotta say, I got a lot accomplished this weekend. All morning I spent making these...I will be honest, this is a picture from last year, lol..... I make Buckeyes every Christmas!




After I was finished making the Buckeyes, I took a nap and went to join the girls for a Christmas Party....






And then yesterday was my cleaning day! With the family coming into town, I wanted to clean the house up some...still have a few things I want to straighten up, but a majority of the cleaning is done, yay!

The Weekend is over already?!?

The weekends always go by way to fast!  My mom was up for a visit for a few days, so we took the opportunity to get some shopping done! :)  We also made a trip to Bizarre Bazarr (A HUGE CRAFT SHOW in Richmond, VA) It is always so crowded, but it is still enjoyable, and it is something Mom and I can do together! :)

I was feeling a little crafty yesterday (maybe Bizarre Bazarr inspired me to get going) , so I decided to give that door decoration I saw over at the Sweet Paul Blog a try. I think it ended up really pretty! :) Since mom was up, she was a second pair of eyes to help me make it look just right!

I also made a pearl ornament, inspired by pinterest, ofcourse!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm Loving:
That I had another wonderful weekend with my family!! We went to the VT/UNC game! Glad my mom was able to come this time!!! It was freezing out there, but so worth it!!!












I'm Loving:
My fabulous new purchases!! I bought a dress for a wine bottle. I didn't buy the one pictured, mine was actually black and white with pink accents. I had to buy it, not sure why, lol. Just because I loved it! I found it at a little shop mom took me too. It reminds me of one of my fav shops at home.



I also bought this chevron tray at a little Boutique Craft Show. So fun!! I'm using it for odds and ends.

That I found some candy cigarettes at a little mom and pop gas station. They are so hard to find, love when I find them!!

The weekend in pictures....

What a great weekend!! :) My parents got us tickets to go watch the Virginia Tech/Boston College Football game so we headed down there for a weekend of tailgating & visiting with the family. My father, sis, hubs and myself went to the game while my mom was kind enough to take this game off to watch the pup-child.  Missed having her there with us, but the next game we go to she will be able to join us, yay!

 The leaves are so pretty out there already!

 Roxy was very anxious to go too! :)

 Lots of fun tailgating, my dad made a mini-keg of his home brew especially for us all to enjoy!

 Tech won, ofcourse! Such a pretty day for the game!

This gorgeous planner that arrived in the mail!! Now I just gave to hold my horses until 2012!! It's hot pink crocodile print, and I looooove it!! It has my initials on it and everything!! :) it's been so rainy and gloomy here in VA for the last few days, so the arrival of this planner definitely helped brighten my mood!! Can't really use it yet, but I have been looking at it quite a bit, I took a lot of pics because I am in awe, lol...

These Jill Rosenwald mugs, too bad I would never be able to spend $80 on a mug, as much as I love her items...so pretty!

Worth giving a try...

I thought these projects would be worth trying....before Halloween of course...
