Another one of my favorites.....

Today I want to show you one of my favorite sellers on Etsy....I have been buying items from her site for a while now. I never get tired of these cute little ceramics. She has made me tons of gifts, and I just can't get tired of them. Since I love finding great quotes, I am always eventually coming up with a new quote I want her to use. I gave her this quote.  I saw it on a website I like, and I asked her to make me a personalized piece. She is always making just what I am looking for. Which reminds me, I have been so busy with the wedding, I have plenty of other items on my wish list, that I need to get here soon! :) Her page is online, here is the link.... Say Your Piece is the name of the shop.  The piece above is one I currently have on a shelf in my kitchen.

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a great week! :) Just checking in!

Thirty One Gifts MAY Special!!!!

For the WHOLE MONTH OF MAY The All-In-One Organizer is only $5.00 with any purchase that totals 31.00 and up. It's an awesome deal and you can use this Organizer for just about anything. It can be used as a baby bag, an office tote, a bag to collect your DVD's in, etc.... You could even personalize it for your mom or dad, and fill it with goodies to give to them as a gift! :)  I am definitely going to take advantage of this deal, and I am not even a "customer" really, LOL.

And something I figured out this morning.....Thirty One Gifts makes a large zipper pouch that is only $12.00. Just picture this bag as being the size of a pretty large makeup bag. Well I tried to fit my dell mini in the bag to see if it would fit, and it did! So now I am going to by ANOTHER one specifically for my Dell Mini.  Just had to tell you all that, haha....

Anyways, Happy Friday! :) Hope everyone has a great weekend!

My Stationary Spot!! :)

Just wanted to share one of my favorite sites. I love the brands that this company carries. I have been draw there recently for bridal thank you cards, but before I used to visit this site for my Christmas cards. I am always finding cards (or cards) that I love! There are three manufacturers that are my favorite, Bonnie Marcus, Madison Park Greetings (LuLu), and Bella Ink.  So make sure to look for them when you go to this page.....

Traylor Papers

I hope everyone is havigng a nice Thursday, it's almost Friday! YAY! :)

Everyone needs a smile! :)

I love this pic. I took this last night. Roxy just crawled up on Scott and was just relaxing. I have another picture where her back legs were stretched out completely, she is such a cutie, so is my Scott, hehe :):)  This pic just makes me smile. :)

Another beautiful day today! Can't believe it will already be Wednesday tomorrow.  This week has been flying by, which is fine with me, I live for the weekends! :) There is a 5K on Saturday, since I didn't sign up early enough, its a 30.00 cost, so I am still debating if I am going to do this one or not. There are a lot coming up this next month, so I definitely am going to try and participate.

And since you know I have this wedding on the brain, here is my little comment for the day:

The dresses for the bridesmaids are going to be shipped tomorrow, it's not like I will be wearing them or anything, not even trying on one secretly, LOL, but I can't wait for them to arrive!! My bridesmaids will look great in them! :) Something else arrived that I had purchased, but I am not telling what it is, I want it  to be a surprise! Anyways, I hope everyone has a great evening! :)

Did someone say Wegmans, again?!

I hope everybody had a great weekend!! :):) I had a very productive last couple of days. Saturday was my day of doing wedding errands. I got my flowers selected. I think they will look great come July. I also got a lot of my cake questions answered, so everything is coming together.  I drove from the church to the reception site, and edited some directions I had typed up for the invites going in the mail here soon as well. Of course, since Wegmans is close by, I always have to stop by their as well, hehe.  I found these mini cheese canolli's.  They are sooo yummy. I figured out the WW points in these, and the mini ones are 2 points a piece.  Definitely worth the two points if you ask me! Some are drizzled with chocolate, others with powdered sugar. Yum...if you have never tried these, go and get some! Oh, and Two Sisters (one of my favorite boutiques in Downtown Fredericksburg) was having a trunk show, so I stopped by there and bought a few things. I don't think I ever go in there, and come out without a bag. I love that store.

Yesterday Scott and I spent the day cleaning the house/doing outdoor chores. Sunday is always my cleaning day. I was also able to get a run in on Saturday, Sunday, and today too so thats always good. Getting a run everyday, really makes me feel a lot better, not as tired either. I can definitely tell the difference now when I compare how I feel  presently to how I felt at this time last year. Exercise definitely has helped my health, and I don't even think I caught a cold this winter/spring. I know, so strange, I always usually come down with some sort of cold. Anyways, just wanted to check in with everybody, it was a busy Monday, wanted to catch up and say hello before I go to bed! :) Night all!!

Now how did the pup do that?

No joke, Roxy really must love her Thirty One bags, LOL.....she just jumped right up on the dining room table and into the bag. She is just like her momma!! hehe

This bag is my favorite Thirty One Gifts product at the moment. It is a perfect size for a weekend trip, to fit all your clothes, toiletries, etc. in. You can get it personalized if you want to. I like mine plain with no personalization. I just ordered one the other day for a customer that was going to use the tote as a wedding gift, using the bride and grooms new last name across the front, really cute!!

I hope everyone has a great Friday! :) Scott and I are going to stain the back deck this weekend, wahoo!!! It should be beautiful outside so hopefully I can get in a few runs!

Glasses...and lots of them....

Okay, so yesterday I went back to the eye doctor. I got a new prescription about a week or two ago. I am even MORE near-sited now. So I went back, to have them do a contact lens check because I noticed some up close vision problems (which I never have had problems with). Turns out, I have a problem with reading/computer screens as well. He told me something about me needing a pair of glasses with a prism in the lenses. Something with my eyes not focusing correctly like they should. I asked him, so what, do I cross my eyes when I am trying to read up close??? Haha, I am probably not even explaining it right, but he did say I needed to get some special prism glasses for reading, etc... that I would wear OVER my contacts, wear glasses over my contacts, so whats the point of having the contacts, if I have to put on the glasses....I am better off getting rid of the contacts all together, and getting glasses with both the prism and my prescription in them, but then when I was driving, I would need another pair of glasses without the prism in it, LOL.... I could have 3 pairs of glasses if I really wanted....

1. Pair with my prescription (to wear when driving, anything but reading)
2. Pair with the Prism (to be worn over my contacts only when reading)
3. Pair with both (To wear when I am reading, and to be alternated with #1 when I am not reading)

I know, enough to give anyone a headache from just thinking about it, ughhhh
Who knows. Its a minor problem right now that isn't bothering me too much, so I may hold off on getting the special "prism" glasses, or any glasses for that matter.

Anyways, talk to everyone later, have a wonderful evening!

Dinner tonight, only 7 WW Points

Dinner tonight:

Manwich and French Fries!
I haven't had manwich in who knows how long, so I thought I would give it a shot....

White Wheat Bun: 1 WW Point
Manwich (beef/sauce): 3 WW Points
French Fries: 3 WW points (Cascadian Farms, can be found at Wegmans)

.....and a paper plate ofcourse.....I don't like dish washing, LOL.....

Not too bad for a filling dinner! Never would have thought a manwich and fries would be a good dinner selection for a weight watchers diet, but it certainly works for me!

Can't talk to long tonight....Dog the Bounty Hunter is on, gotta watch! :)

Did someone say Wegmans?

I want to share with you all the best cake I have ever tried (and tried again, over and over). No joke, if I wasn't dieting, I could easily eat this whole cake by myself, no problem. My office got this cake for my birthday, and they told me to take the remaining half home with me.  From then on, I ate this cake for every meal, even breakfast. I figured since it was my birthday I could take a "mini" diet break and have some of my favorite cake. If possible I am going to incorporate this cake into my wedding,  I plan on figuring it all out, but I will make it happen, haha.... They don't actually make this specific type of cake as a wedding cake, but I figured I could think up something creative.....

Speaking of being creative, I am trying to come up with a unique idea for the wedding centerpeices. Being that I can't spend as much on the flowers as I had hoped, I want to try other ideas. Simple ideas, that maybe just involve a few flowers, and some square vases. I have seen some cute ideas.  I also decided that I want a wedding coordinator, BUT, haha....I can't afford one....SO....I need to find a good person that would want to volunteer their time to be my go to gal at the wedding, because they love me sooooo much! LOL! Trying to figure out who would be a good person for this kind of job (That's not already in the wedding) Got any ideas?!

Anyways, talk to you all soon, halfway through the week already! :)

It's a Monday alright!

I would have preferred sleeping in a couple hours like Miss Roxy got to this morning! It was definitely a Monday, that's for sure! The day did go by quickly though, was super busy, I like days like that.

I hit a great mark Sunday morning. I got on the scale, and I was at 155 exactly. In August of last year I set a goal for myself. My goal was to reach 150 by my wedding in July, and it looks like I will get to my goal. I am sooo close. Ofcourse, everything is taking EXTRA long now....It seems like it is taking forever to lose these last pounds, but I am soooo close!  I have stuck to the Weight Watchers diet for almost 9 months now, and I am so used to this new way of eating, that I don't even need all the junk food I used to eat all the time!! Don't get me wrong, I still love junk food though!!

I have been trying to run every day after work. The weather has been just gorgeous!! I can definitely tell it's Spring now! I think Miss Roxy has doggy allergies, she seems to be sneezing quite a bit, so I have been trying to keep her out of the grass, when we are taking our walks/runs, to keep her allergies from flaring up.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great evening! :)

Yeah for the weekend!! :)

Hey everyone! :) I am sooo glad the weekend is here!! Been a very productive work week, but I am so excited to just do nothing for a few days!!! Not that I have a lot of plans or anything, sometimes it is just nice to relax! As you all have probably read previously, I am having my first Thirty One Gifts open house this weekend!  Click here to look!! You can buy online if you can't make it!

Anyone is welcome, it's nothing fancy. You can just come, look at some of their products and catalog.  I really don't like pressuring people to buy, ughhh, cause I know that I hate it when it is done to me. I just think, (and this is just my opinion ofcourse) that their bags and totes are great!! I love them, and to think I really didn't know anything about them about a month ago,  I really just wanted to start selling things, so I could get discounts at the same time, haha, and show off some of the cute items that I have come to love.....and honestly, I don't think I will be that disappointed if I am not as successful at this as I initially thought, because if it doesn't work out, HEY, I got a lot of great cute bags, and what girl doesn't love bags, hehe.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great weekend!! :)

Oh, p.s.....I think I am going to sign up for two 5K's coming up, the Stafford Hospital 5K and the Semper Fred 5K (Part of the Marine Corps Marathon) in Fredericksburg. Come and join me if you want to. Its always nice to have a running partner! :)

2 points?!

I just discovered a treat that is my new healthy dessert every day after dinner. Skinny Cow has just come out with these new ice cream cups. They have 4 to 5 different flavors, but I have quickly come to pick the chocolate one as my favorite. The great thing about it is "It's only 2 WW points!" Some of the others are 3 points, but not the chocolate one! It tastes super yummy, and I am glad it is semi-healthy, you can call chocolate healthy, right?!

Not too much else is new. Staying busy, busy, busy. Moving right along on wedding plans. There is always something new that is popping into my head. I am excited about all the ideas I could possibly use in July. I have already bought some of the supplies I am going to use to make the favors for the wedding. I decided I want to make my own. I want to have that kind of input in my wedding, esp. since I enjoy making favors and such, why not make the ones in my wedding, right!?

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great day! :)

This Sunday!!

This Sunday is going to be my first OPEN HOUSE for Thirty One Gifts. Anyone is invited!!! :) Please feel free to stop by anytime between 2-4PM. Also, please bring anyone who you think may want to come. The more, the merrier. I believe I am the first consultant in King George that sells this (as far as I know). They are a fairly new company, and I love their items, so I kind of just want to show everyone what they have.
I have never been much for selling anything out of a catalog, just because I always feel like I am bothering people, so that is part of the reason, I am just going to be doing Open House style parties. They are more laid back, and don't feel so much like a presentation. I also believe that once everyone starts to see Thirty One's products, they will really like them like I do.

My Thirty One Gifts Website

If you can't come by, please stop by my page, and you can look on the online catalog. You can buy things through my page, and the order for the items will be placed with the orders that come in this Sunday at my open house. I am anxious to get some items for myself, so I will be trying to close the party soon after the open house.

So please come by on Sunday! :) It would be nice to see everyone and show you all the items that Thirty One carries! :)

A great new treat!

This morning, my boss brought in a Wegmans mini fruit tart for me, for my birthday. She knows I am big time dieting, so she decided to get this fruit tart, which has a lot of fruit on it, making it healthier.

I was just curious, and I wanted to figure out how many points are in a mini Wegmans fruit tart, and I was very surprised at the results I came up with. Only 5 WW points!! I could eat one every morning for breakfast if I wanted to, ofcourse, I'm not going to do that, but I was just really happy that the points were not too high.  I still was very surprised though, but everywhere I googled, it still calculated up to 5 WW points, so I am going with that!

So my 27th Birthday is today. My last birthday as a single gal before I get married. The wedding will be here before I realize it. Wow, it's April, the wedding is in July, only 4 1/2 months! Still have lots to do, but I think I have been pretty productive, so I should be fine. :) Finally picked out the bridesmaids shoes a few days ago, they are cute, I already own the shoes, but in black, so I know they look great! :)

No special birthday plans today really....I am going to go get a dinner at a locally owned resteraunt in Port Royal, VA. It is a neighboring county right next to King George. I love their crabcakes, and they are close by, so I asked Scott if we could go there tonight for dinner, YAY! :)

Anyways, hope everyone has a nice day, tomorrow is Friday!! WAHOO!!!!
