That I got my Lilly P. tray in the mail yesterday. I love it!!! A while back I entered a Monogram Merchant Giveaway over at LuLu & Daisy and was the lucky winner! Now I need to do some entertaining so I can use it!

Happy Birthday Daddypa!

Wish he was still here with us. I miss him a lot. I could go on and on about everything I miss. First time his birthday will pass and I won't be able to mail him a card. Just wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday, he finally gets to spend it with my grandma "Mommypa" again. That makes me smile.

My Happy List...

These adorable plates are on my Happy List today!!! $6.95 a piece!! That is such a great deal!! You can go here to buy them!! I first spotted these over at Kelley's site, for the love of design. Glad I ran across them!



Next on my Happy List are these runners and napkins I ran across yesterday. Hen House Linens is the name of the company. I bought a pretty green and white table runner (my fav pattern shown underneath the pink napkin)

Why it took me so long to discover this, not sure?! I love it!! Another DIY Project: Chevron Tray!

This DIY Project was another one that didn't take much time at all:

Items I needed:

* Wood Tray: I bought mine at Ross for $4.00! :) It had a fancy Hawaiian flower pattern all over it. I wasn't crazy about it. Luckily, I was planning to cover it anyways.

*Any fabric you want! : ) I bought mine on Etsy. (Around $10, including shipping) Super fun pink and white Chevron print! :)

*Piece of cardboard: I actually took one of those free priority mail boxes from the post office, and I used that.

*Sheet of glass. I went to my local hardware store to pick this up. Something was wrong with their machine, so they ended up giving me the piece of glass they cut, because it was a tiny bit crooked. Honestly, I couldn't really tell, so it worked out for me!! :)

I started off this project by cutting a piece of cardboard that fit right into the tray I had bought. After I did that, I took the fabric I bought, and wrapped it around the cardboard. I actually just took some tape, and taped the fabric on, just like I would wrap a present. After that, I took the whole tray to the hardware store. They cut the glass to fit directly in the tray.

And TADA! :) The project is done. I really like the look that the glass gives the platter. I actually saw this chevron platter over at Dwellings By Devore and I just loved it! :)  She was able to get her glass for free as well!  Of course, I went on a search for hot pink chevron, because I love hot pink!! :)

Friday Confessional

I confess:

Yesterday morning, I was drying my hair and dropped my brush. As I was leaning down to pick it up, I fell off the chair. I decided to finish drying my hair on the floor. I know, pathetic.

I confess:

I ran 2 miles today. On my cool down walk, I saw my neighbors enjoying martinis on their front porch. They offered me one. So on my cool down walk I stopped for a martini, nice, huh, LOL...don't worry, I estimated the martini was about 6 weight watchers points (my dinner for tonight....just kidding, hehe)

Starting Weight Watchers Points Plus....

Decided I am going to give this new plan a try. Always used the old plans in the past, but I have noticed that I have become immune to the old diet. I am not not losing anymore, so as of tommorrow I am trying this new plan, seeing how it will work for me!

I have done well in the past teaching myself these diets (rather than paying money) so I am going to try to teach myself points plus as well. I have already been able to google a points plus calculator and have also already figured out my new point allowance. So I figure, I will buy a new calculator, and give it a whirl first thing in the morning.

If anyone has any tips or suggestions for me, please send them my way! I have memorized the old weight watchers plan, but this new one is still pretty foreign to me, so any helpful tips, dinner ideas, snack suggestions would be appreciated!! :) Maybe I can even start to cook more, haha....this will motivate me, I hope....

My goal: To lose 25 pounds.....

I got to 150 for my wedding and I realized that being 5'9 and 150 didn't look so nice on me, so I am not trying to get down to that again.....want to look healthy, LOL....
