Somehow I bruised my arm the other day, if you look at it closely, kind of looks like a hickey...But it's not...that would be pretty weird, right by my elbow, yep...

I was a little jealous when Scott told me he was taking the day off today. Then he told me he would be working in the yard all day. I am not jealous anymore.

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving:
That all my pants are getting tight and because of that I will I be starting weight watchers, again, for the thousandth time since the 1st of Jan. I just can't figure out how to keep myself motivated. The wedding did it before, I need something new that I will take seriously!! (if you can't tell, this is a sarcastic "I'm loving" comment...)

The simple things...

While walking with my friend Shahanna this morning, I just had to snap this photo. I love it. My pup Roxy, the tiny one to the left, walking with Gander (Shahanna's dog). Roxy is always trying to stay up with Gander, or race just to stay at the same pace, I thinks it's adorable, simple as it is. I have been staying up to date with others as they link up to the blog "Simple as that" and I thought I would join in with the others this week!

Friday Confessional...

I confess:
In the last week I have caught myself dancing in the work bathroom TWICE as I was washing my hands (we have an overhead radio in the office) It's fine, the door was closed, obviously, LOL.

I confess:
When I go running, I like to take my pup with me. It's good for her to get exercise. Added bonus, when she has to take a potty break, I get to take a walking break! Yay for me!

I confess:
I am super excited we are getting a Dollar General in my little town!! Hey it's a small little area. We just got a CVS and a Walmart is coming now, excited!!! Moving up!

I confess:
I confessed this on facebook a while back, but I forgot to mention here... I was "THIS" close to using my tide to go pen as lip gloss a few weeks ago...yucko!

I confess:
Okay, so I was walking with the girls at this natural park down the street, and saw a beautiful bird perched on a dock over by the water. I just had to take a pic of it on my phone. Thought I had got SUCH a great photo, until 3 miles later I walked by the SAME area and that beautiful bird hadn't moved. I went closer and realized the bird I took such a great photo of was actually a picture of a PLASTIC bird. I just thought I had some wonderful photography skills, ummmm, no.

Yesterday when the lady at Chick-fil-A asked me what condiments I wanted with my fries, I told her in so many words that "I would like fries with my fries" Yep, I definitely said that...

Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap!

Mamarazzi granted me "special permission" to participate in one of her swaps that she has on her blog, and I am really looking forward to it!! This swap will be taking place on April 1st-2nd, and who doesn't like the idea of getting a package filled with presents?! I love buying things for others too, (what?!, I do!) so I should really enjoy this! I discovered that Mamarazzi and myself share a birthday too (Apr. 1) so we will be getting packages, and it will be our birthdays!! Even better!!

Craft Projects, continued....

During the last few weeks, I have run across some really cute DIY projects, I started on a burlap wreath I posted a while back....These are the other projects I saw that I wanted to try....

The first project was a cork board. This was a super easy project. I saw it over at "Peppermint and Plum".  All you do is tape your cork board up, paint white stripes on it, and then remove the tape.....Super easy, and it ended up really great....

For this cupcake project, all you need is a cheap frame, (I got mine at Target) a Martha Stewart cupcake punch, some 3D Sticky dots, and then some scrap booking paper that catches your eye.....I also had some rub on words, so I added the word "enjoy" on the bottom right corner for a cute final touch! :) I saw many different ways that people had used the Martha Stewart Cupcake punch, I put my own twist on it, and came up with this cute piece of art! :)

Last but not least I wanted to replicate something I saw over at "A Thoughtful Place" .She did this project and it was such a great organization idea. I have started using it already, and it works great! :) Gives me so much more space. Again all I needed was an organization display (also got this from Target too!) some cute scrap booking paper, clothespins, mod podge, and a cute punch to punch out some card-stock. You will use the card-stock to write on. I used the modge podge to glue/seal the scrapbooking paper to the clothespins.....I used it like glue, and set the scrapbook paper on top of it, and them I coated it with modge podge again over top as sort of a seal. The final touch of the decorated clothespins was inspired by a post on  "The Girl Creative's" Blog.

P.S. Also, notice the cute little fabric flower on the top right corner of the organizer, isn't it cute, it looks  good there, I thought! I won this over at A Glimpse Inside. It was from a etsy shop called Just for Love! :)

Friday Confessional...

I confess:
I am the pickiest eater you will EVER meet. I will eat one food at a time. I never mix and eat. I will eat each side at a time, from least favorite to most (save the best for last mentality) Casseroles are excluded from this rule of course.

I confess:
One of our guest rooms is like "a half guest room" Wondering what I am talking about? Well I have half of the guest room with a bed and dressers. The other half of the room is COVERED with walls of plastic containers. I try to be classy about it though. I cover the "Container Wall" with a comforter, that matches the comforter on the guest bed of course. So it's a nice half room look, just pretend the containers aren't there.

I confess:
I ALSO (read this in another Friday confessional this morning) will take notes throughout the week on what my NEXT Friday Confessionals will be. It's all about organization!

I confess:
Okay, so when I am speeding already WAY past the speed limit, and I am in the slow lane already... I like to really slow down, like to 5 miles per hour if I am being tailed. It makes me feel better!! I am not a slow driver by any means. Same idea when people are so miserable that they want to make everyone else miserable too. Not me. I will just be sooo disgustingly nice. This also makes me feel better. There. I said it.

I confess:
I am restarting weight watchers again this Friday. I restart every Friday. This isn't cool.

Anything that has a Moroccan Trellis pattern, I don't know why, this pattern just catches my eye, I think its so pretty, it has a simple, classy look that I can't stop looking at, hehe...(I go through pattern phases, first it was Amy Butler and her coriander prints, then it was Damask, and NOW it is this Moroccan Trellis pattern.  I am even thinking I would love to stencil the walls in our living room like this picture below.....wonder how Scott will like it?! LOL....maybe we will wait a lil...

DIY Burlap Wreath!!!

I saw this adorable Burlap wreath tutorial at Tatertots and Jello, so this weekend, I gave it a go. I used bright fabric, and some burlap I picked up at Michaels. I was happy with how it turned out. I told Scott I could make one to match each room in the house, LOL....I think we would be a little "wreathed out" if I did that.

I also tried to make some chalkboard items, and only one of them came out looking cute, so that's all I am showing you, LOL...

 I have been working on a cork board, and I will show you that here soon! :) Anyways, I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday! Is it Friday yet??
