This cocktail tray I really like.....I saw it here!


This wonderful Flora Doora I received as a gift. Want to see more Flora Dooras?? Visit Jane here at her blog! I put some artificial calla lilies in it, because I don't do very well with the living plants, isn't it pretty!?



I also love the way these candy wrappers ended up. I won a giveaway, and Paige from Paiges of Style designed them for me. I am going to use them as giveaways for when I have Thirty One Gifts parties.

Friday Confessional...

I confess:
Sometimes, if my lip gloss smells really good, I will lift my upper lip up so I can smell it. You know you have done it too, don't judge me, LOL!

I confess:
I just tripped in the hallway at work, nice.

I confess:
I will stop at stores about a half hour before they close on purpose, so it prevents me from shopping too much.

I confess:
I told myself that once I hit 100 followers, I will do a giveaway. We all remember my first giveaway, actually nobody probably remembers my giveaway, why you ask?! Because only one person participated. A bridesmaid in my wedding. So I figured once I hit 100 followers, I was going to give it another shot.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving:

This lip gloss I grabbed randomly while in the check out line. I love it!!! It's called Nivea, A Kiss Of Shine. It's not sticky, and smells yummy too!

I'm loving:

These Newtons Fruit Thins. They just came out and they are only 1 WW point a piece. This flavor (Blueberry and Brown Sugar) appealed to me the most, but they have variety of different other flavors. I gotta say, when I first picked this up I wasn't sure if I would like them or not....but they ended up being pretty tasty! :)

Top 2 Tuesday

Top 2 drinks (alcoholic and non)

1. Aquafina

I started drinking only water a few years ago, and now the sodas seem to give me headaches. I will drink a soda here and there, but if you give me a choice, I am going for the water! Aquafina is my favorite.

2. Tropical Mango Wine Slush

I tried this for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was the best frozen drink I have had in a while!! You simply take the dry mix, a bottle of white wine, stir and freeze, and tada!! I used Chardonnay myself.  Ran across this at a craft show, and am so glad I did!! Strongly recommend trying this! I put the link up above.

Friday Confessional...

I confess:
This morning, I accidentally stabbed my arm with a knife. Not just a butter knife either, one of the knifes that are usually in the block. Okay....so maybe it was caused by my stupidity of putting the knifes in the drying rack blade up, but regardless, I still managed to stab myself on accident. Wanna see?! By the way, I am sooooooo pale!! Geeez!!!






I confess:
I am using this confession as a way to express my anger with myself. I have once again, started my diet up. I probably have posted that I would be dieting in about 12 other posts, and it's just ridiculous. I really need to get control of things. I am REALLY angry with myself about all this. No eating a cheesecake here, or a cookie there. This is the end of my reign of laziness. I need to gain some control of my willpower, this can't continue. I have gained 25 pounds since my wedding, and I have ummm.....maybe 1 pair of pants that fit me like they should. Not acceptable. I'm done with this, there....I said it. 5Ks and perogies....and 100 calorie packs are my new foods...

I confess:
Because of my restarting of the diet I had to eat the rest of my Whopper Robin Eggs yesterday (about a half bag of them)

I confess:
I told the hubby I'm going to IKEA on my lunch break today. I hope he's not too worried. LOL. I have confidence in myself, that I will only get things we NEED.

I was kind of lecturing/yelling at myself in this post, don't mind me....my blog is just my venting place. I hope everyone has a nice weekend!!

Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap...

I was paired with Emily from One Can Hope.....I was so excited to get my swap package yesterday! :) Mamarazzi from Dandelion Wishes was a wonderful host for the swap, and I am excited to participate in many more! This is how everything looked when I took it out of the box!

I got lots of goodies! :)

I have to say, we both bought each other Carmex, LOL, whats a package without Carmex, I love it! :)

I got a super soft Cashmere like scarve, it was sooo soft, I can wait to use it!

Reeses Pieces and Altoids, you can't go wrong with those! :)

Purity Face Wash, looking forward to trying it! :)

I got a book called "Redeeming Love" Had never heard of it, I am anxious to read it!

She also gave me a postcard of her fav. place to visit "Ala Moana Beach" It looks beautiful, yep, definitely have been nowhere near there before! Looks gorgeous though! :)

Last but not least I got a very unique Kukui Tree Nut necklace. Never seen anything like that, it was pretty neat!! :)

Oh and I almost forgot, she sent me her FAV recipe for Snickerdoodles, I can't wait to make them! :)

My two favorites were the scarve and the purity face wash! Thanks again for being a wonderful swap partner Emily! :) I had a fun time putting together your package of goodies!

The weekend in pictures...

I had a wonderful birthday dinner at Firebirds!! :) Yummmm!

I had to have a special birthday drink ofcourse!

 We got new furniture  for our living room, so I had to make some new cupcake art that matched the room ofcourse! Yes, cupcakes don't really go in the "Living Room"  It's a better item to put in the kitchen, but it's in the living room for now! I have been loving my cupcake punch, LOL...

 And last but not least I made some sugar cookies.....Let me expand on this. So we bought a bucket of cookies from one of the neighbors. Generally you just buy the bucket, scoop out the mix and that is it...This bucket was different, I had to put eggs anf butter in it....and ofcourse, the butter at the house had expired in JANUARY! LOL, so it turned into more of a project than I had hoped. They taste pretty good though. I put them in a new "Crate and Barrel" jar I just bought.  It was decorated with a Say It on the Wall Decal, isn't it cute, I love her vinyl decals! :)  All in all, I had a nice weekend! :)

Friday Confessional...

I confess:
I buy Starburst jellybeans, and then I will pick through them for all the pinks, they are the only ones I want...so basically I buy the bag for just the pink jellybeans....Same thing with actual Starbursts.

I confess:
I am super excited my birthday is today!! Don't have anything really exciting going on, I just like days that revolve around MEEEEEE, just kidding...no I'm not.

I confess:
I think I want a blog makeover, I need to do something unique, but affordable. Anyone have any good suggestions??

I confess:
I fully take advantage of my birthday, If I can get something, I will always try... I will say "but it's my birthday" after everything in an attempt to persuade. Reasonable requests though, I am not too bad about it.

You ever over tweeze your eyebrows to where they are uneven (on accident of course) I think I may have....

I confess:
I painted my nails yesterday, I don't think I had done that in about a year....fake nails for the wedding don't count.

I confess: I still will not go outside by myself after watching a scary movie. I don't care how old I am.

These 2 DIY projects, they are the next projects on my to-do list!!

First one I saw over at Tatertots and Jello, and it was featuring a project done by a Ms. Michaela from Michaela Noelle Designs (who also has a great blog as well) I bought the cork boards, still need to find the perfect fabric though before I start mine. These are pics of the boards Michaela made, aren't they pretty?!










Next project looks super easy, and I really like the look of it. I saw this over at a Little Bit Funky.











I want to find a cute Moroccan Trellis print fabric to try and make this with. Haven't found it yet but I will.....

Butterfly Collage Art

I have seen a lot of collage art using butterflies, so I tried to make my own this weekend....This was the end result. Not too bad, I still like my cupcake one more, but they all end up looking cute. Just wanted to share with everyone!

I am obsessed with the square storage shelves! I saw this while visiting a Made By Girl's Blog and the monogrammed chair caught my eye.....what a cute way to decorate an office! :)

The simple things...

After my grandfather passed, we took a trip down to his house...I took this picture while I was out standing on the deck, knowing that it was a view I wouldn't be likely to see again. Eventually I want to frame and mat this photo. This photo reminds me of every visit I made to see my grandparents growing up. It's a simple, yet wonderful memory, and I am glad I captured it.
